(“Almaden” or “the Company”) (TSX: AMM) (NYSE American: AAU) (NYSE MKT: AAU) is pleased to announce new assay results from Almaden’s ongoing exploration and development program at the Company’s Tuligtic project, Mexico. Results reported today are from drill hole TU-17-504 drilled on section 10+650 East. This hole intersected significant mineralisation in an upper portion of the PFS pit which was modelled as waste material in the Company’s Pre-Feasibility study (74.5 meters grading 0.66 g/t Au and 45.1 g/t Ag). Hole TU-17-504 also further demonstrated the potential for high grade veins within the Ixtaca North Zone (see plan and section maps attached). Highlights include the following intercepts:
