During the 32nd week of the year (August 3rd to August 9th, 2026), 27 companies working in Mexico posted press releases. Three companies presented activities on early-stage work properties. Five companies presented quarterly reports, one began underground mining development, and one more obtained a substantial drilling permit. Six companies announced financings or share related events. One company presented a PEA, two more companies presented drilling results and one more reported exploration activities, all on advanced properties. Five companies presented news on deals and corporate issues. ON MEXICO ISSUES, no relevant news. ON EXPLORATION, In Sonora, Tocvan Ventures presented drilling results from Gran Pilar; Defiance Silver received the drilling permit for El Espíritu. In Durango, Pinnacle Silver and Gold reported underground sampling results. ON MINING, Elemental Royalty, Equinox Gold, Gold Royalty, Coeur Mining, Heliostar Metals, Torex Gold informed on quarterly reports. Silverco Mining began underground development at Cusi, in Chihuahua. Guanajuato Silver Company received the drilling permit for El Horcón, in Guanajuato. ON FINANCING. Teck announced the commencement of consent solicitation. Chesapeake Gold announced stock option grant. Aura Mining and Equinox Gold informed on dividends. Endeavour Silver announced a revolving credit facility. Santacruz Silver Mining announced equity incentive grants. ON RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT, Kootenay Silver filed a PEA on La Cigarra, Chihuahua. During the 31st week of the year (July 27 to August 2, 2026), at least 30 press releases were issued by companies operating in Mexico and 1 news published by the media. Of these, ten reported production results, nine related to deals and corporate matters, four announcing financing activities, three covered resource and development updates, three presented exploration results and two addressed Mexican-related issues. ON MEXICO ISSUES, Vulcan losses multi-million dollar claim against Mexico over Calica mine in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo. Mercado Minerals, Tocvan and Pacific Silver reported the best drilling intercepts in Mexico on the fifth week of July, 2026. ON EXPLORATION, In Chihuahua, Radius provided an update on its Amalia project. In Sinaloa, Mercado Minerals reported drill results from el Pilar Vein at its Copalito project. In Durango, Pacifica identified new high grade Aguilareña mineralized shoot at Claudia project, and provided an exploration update.  ON MINING, Starcore, reported Year End 2026 results. Silver Storm announced first concentrate shipment from its La Parrilla mine, Durango. Santacruz, Endeavour, First Majestic, Golden Minerals, Agnico Eagle, Alamos Gold, and J2 Metals reported Q2, 2026 production and/or financial results. Mining Americas announced that it will release its financial and operating results for the three and six months ended June 30, 2026 on August 17, 2026. ON FINANCING, Zacatecas Silver closed first tranche of a non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of CAD $1,475,194.07. Altius closed transaction increasing ownership interest in Great Bay Renewables and announced increased credit facility. Centenario Gold announced the cancellation of an aggregate of 1,720,000 stock options. Discovery Mining increased and extended to USD $400M from USD $250M, a revolving credit facility. ON RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT, Axo secured major environmental permit approval for its San Antonio Gold project in Sonora and cleared path for production. Mithril reported its June 2026 quarterly activities for its Copalquin and La Dura projects in Durango. Barksdale released results from the core re-sampling program at its San Javier project in Sonora, and completed the final payment to Tusk to own 100% of the property. ON DEALS AND CORPORATE ISSUES, Goldgroup appointed Javier Reyes as Interim Chief Executive Officer effective immediately, and announced the transition of Allen Palmiere form his role as President and Chief Executive Officer and expect he remains in an advisory capacity to support an orderly leadership transition. Minaurum informed the engagement of Paula Montoya to significantly advance the geological understanding of its flagship Alamo Silver project in Sonora. Orogen Royalties announced updates for its partner funded exploration stage projects and royalties for the first half of 2026 and forecast for the remainder of the year. Tocvan appointed Brodie Sutherland, as Executive Chair, Christopher Gordon as Chief Executive Officer and Rodrigo Calles as President.  Orla receives court approval for business combination with Equinox Gold. Equinox and Orla complete business combination, creating North America´s New Senior Gold Producer. Teck and Anglo announced future Anglo Teck Executive Leadership Team. Riverside completed an initial founder financing for Ravena Resources in advance of proposed TSX Venture Spinout. Altius Minerals announced a bought deal public offering for gross proceeds of CAD $181.5M. Mexican Gold closed its previously announced non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of CAD $2,299,000, and will change its name to Platauro Metals Corp-, effective on or about July 20, 2026. ON DEALS AND CORPORATE ISSUES, Silver Storm amended the Samsung prepayment agreement and secured CAD $5M Loan from First Majestic. Vizsla Royalties received shareholders and court approval for plan of arrangement with Elemental Royalty. Southern Silver engaged the services of ICP Securities to provide automated market making services. Goldgroup and Gold Resource are expected to commence trading under the ticker symbol “GORO” on the NYSE American LLC after the closing of the merger. Apollo Silver announced the resignation of Ross McElroy as President and CEO, and resigned from the Board of Directors: Colin P Sutherland will assume the role of President and CEO, effective July 15, 2026. During the 27th week of the year (June 29 to July 5, 2026), at least 23 press releases were issued by companies operating in Mexico and 1 news published by the media. Of these, thirteen related to deals and corporate matters, four covered resource and development updates, three discussing social issues, two reported production results, one presented exploration results and one addressed Mexican-related issues.  ON MEXICO ISSUES, El pago de utilidades pone en riesgo la titularidad de contrato en la mina La Herradura de Peñoles. ON EXPLORATION, In Oaxaca, EV Resources reported that underground channel sampling at its Los Lirios project returned multiple high-grade antimony results. ON MINING, Agnico Eagle and Alamos Gold informed that they will be presenting their Q2, 2026 results on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. ON FINANCING, No relevant news. ON RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT, Orogenannounced permitting update for portal construction at Ermitaño´s Navidad deposit in Sonora.  Talamore Mining provided an update on the Mineral Resource Estimate at its Cristina project in Chihuahua. Southern Silver reported underground channel sampling results at the Puro Corazon mine at its Cerro Las Minitas project, Durango.  Mithril announced an upgraded Mineral Resource Estimate for the Target 1 deposit at its flagship Copalquin project in Durango.  ON DEALS AND CORPORATE ISSUES, Almadex sold its NRS royalty on El Cobre project, Veracruz to Minerales Críticos de Mexico S.A.P.I. de C.V. Vizsla Royalties announced that an independent proxy advisor firms have recommended shareholders to vote for the proposed plan of arrangement involving the company and Elemental Royalty Corporation.  Pinnacle appointed Auramet Capital Partners as Lead Project Financier for El Potrero project, Durango.  Discovery Silver announced that effective on Friday, July 3, 2026, the company´s common shares will trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under its newly approved name “Discovery Mining Ltd”. Regency Silver reported that a recording of its live investor webinar held on June 25, 2026 to review 2025/2026 drill results at Dios Padre project in Sonora is now available for viewing.  Teck mailed a letter of transmittal and election form in connection with the merger of equals with Anglo American. Goldgroup and Gold Resource announced that their shareholders have approved the arrangement agreement and plan of merger. Centenario Gold clarified in a news release the engagement of ICP Securities Inc pursuant to the market making services agreement as announced on June 8, 2026. Guanajuato Silver and Regency Silver reported voting results from its 2026 Annual General and Special Meeting of shareholders. Mining Americas informed that trading of its common shares will commence on the Toronto Stock Exchange on July 3, 2026.  Goldgroup confirmed the consolidation ratio for its previously announced consolidation of the Company’s issued and outstanding common shares without par value, and granted stock options to certain directors of the company under its omnibus equity incentive plan.   ON SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, Orla Mining, GoGold, and Capstone released their 2025 Sustainability Report with respect to its environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) practices.

The Mining and Exploration News in Mexico; Highlights on the Fourth Week of June 2026

During the 26th week of the year (June 22nd to June 28th, 2026), 23 companies working in Mexico posted press releases. As you can see below, the markets are hardly making investments in mining right now and companies are now making deals, rearranging and preparing. Not a single company informed on early-stage property work. One company reached a labor pay agreement, another secured land access and one more mobilized an underground mining crew. One company announced its IPO. Two companies released drill results on their properties while one more received a drilling permit.  One company is advancing a mine restart plan and another one received construction permits for two underground operations. Thirteen companies presented news on deals and corporate issues. ON MEXICO ISSUES, no relevant news. ON EXPLORATION, no relevant news. ON MINING, Orla Mining reached an agreement on a bonus for its workforce. Silverco Mining mobilized underground contractors at Cusi in Chihuahua. Equinox Gold secured land access to Los Filos in Guerrero (production was halted back in April 2025 by the lack of it). ON FINANCING. Sinda Ltd. launched its IPO on NYSE. ON RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT, Capitan Silver received a key drill permit for Cruz de Plata in Durango. Zacatecas Silver increased the resource at Esperanza, in Morelos. Luca Mining released assays from drilling at Campo Morado in Guerrero. Goldgroup Mining is advancing on the restart of the San Francisco mine in Sonora. Heliostar Metals announced drilling results from Ana Paula in Guerrero. First Majestic received the drilling permits for the Navidad and Santo Niño underground operations at Santa Elena in Sonora. ON DEALS AND CORPORATE ISSUES, Sierra Madre and First Majestic closed the Del Toro mine acquisition in Zacatecas. Discovery Silver, Americas Gold and Silver, Sierra Madre Gold and Silver and Minera Alamos released AGM results. Equinox Gold and Orla Mining updated on inner proceedings regarding their merger. Canasil is to change name to Canadian Silver. Minera Alamos formalized its name change to Mining Americas. Silver Spruce Resources disclosed board changes.
