During the 29th week of the year (July 13 to July 19, 2026), at least 26 press releases were issued by companies operating in Mexico and 1 news published by the media. Of these, eight related to deals and corporate matters, six covered resource and development updates, five announcing financing activities, four reported production results, two presented exploration results and two addressed Mexican-related issues. ON MEXICO ISSUES, Torex Gold, Advance Metals, and Minaurum Silver reported the best drilling intercepts in Mexico on the third week of July, 2027. ON EXPLORATION, In Chihuahua, Centenario Gold received assay results from its surface and underground mapping collected at Los Reyes project.  In Queretaro, US Antimony hired an AI company who are specialists in the hard rock mining space to work on Los Juarez Silver Mine.  ON MINING, Discovery announced that it will release Q2, 2026 results on August 13, 2026. Gold Royalty informed that it will release Q2, 2026 results on August 5, 2026. Mining Americas reported Q2, 2026 results. Altius provided and update of its project generation business activities and its junior equities portfolio. ON FINANCING, Pinnacle arranged a non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of up to USD $2.2M. Riverside completed an initial founder financing for Ravena Resources in advance of proposed TSX Venture Spinout. Altius Minerals announced a bought deal public offering for gross proceeds of CAD $181.5M. Mexican Gold closed its previously announced non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of CAD $2,299,000, and will change its name to Platauro Metals Corp-, effective on or about July 20, 2026. Zacatecas Silver announced a non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of up to CAD $2.5M to advance Oso Negro drill program in Sonora. ON RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT, Silverco Begins Exploration Drilling at La Negra Project in Queretaro. Torex reported results from the drilling and exploration programs at ELG underground and the Media Luna Cluster in Guerrero. Minaurum engaged SGS Metallurgy and Consulting Geological Services to update the Mineral Resource Estimate on its Alamos Silver project in Sonora. Sierra Madre received drill permits from SEMARNAT to commence drilling at the East district of the Guitarra mine in State of Mexico. Silver Storm commenced hot commissioning of the sulphide circuit at La Parrilla mine in Durango. Tocvan announced a development plan for pilot mine operations at its Gran Pilar project in Sonora. Advance Metals reported drill results from its Gavilanes project in Durango. ON DEALS AND CORPORATE ISSUES, Silver Storm amended the Samsung prepayment agreement and secured CAD $5M Loan from First Majestic. Vizsla Royalties received shareholders and court approval for plan of arrangement with Elemental Royalty. Southern Silver engaged the services of ICP Securities to provide automated market making services. Goldgroup and Gold Resource are expected to commence trading under the ticker symbol “GORO” on the NYSE American LLC after the closing of the merger. Apollo Silver announced the resignation of Ross McElroy as President and CEO, and resigned from the Board of Directors: Colin P Sutherland will assume the role of President and CEO, effective July 15, 2026. Gold Resource received notification from the FTSE Russell that following the company´s previously announced merger with Goldgroup, the combined company will not eligible for inclusion in the Russell 2000. EV Resources informed that its securities were put on immediate trading halt. Goldgroup and Gold Resource announce closing of its business combination.   ON SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, no relevant news.

The Mining and Exploration News in Mexico; Highlights on the Fourth Week of June 2026

During the 26th week of the year (June 22nd to June 28th, 2026), 23 companies working in Mexico posted press releases. As you can see below, the markets are hardly making investments in mining right now and companies are now making deals, rearranging and preparing. Not a single company informed on early-stage property work. One company reached a labor pay agreement, another secured land access and one more mobilized an underground mining crew. One company announced its IPO. Two companies released drill results on their properties while one more received a drilling permit.  One company is advancing a mine restart plan and another one received construction permits for two underground operations. Thirteen companies presented news on deals and corporate issues. ON MEXICO ISSUES, no relevant news. ON EXPLORATION, no relevant news. ON MINING, Orla Mining reached an agreement on a bonus for its workforce. Silverco Mining mobilized underground contractors at Cusi in Chihuahua. Equinox Gold secured land access to Los Filos in Guerrero (production was halted back in April 2025 by the lack of it). ON FINANCING. Sinda Ltd. launched its IPO on NYSE. ON RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT, Capitan Silver received a key drill permit for Cruz de Plata in Durango. Zacatecas Silver increased the resource at Esperanza, in Morelos. Luca Mining released assays from drilling at Campo Morado in Guerrero. Goldgroup Mining is advancing on the restart of the San Francisco mine in Sonora. Heliostar Metals announced drilling results from Ana Paula in Guerrero. First Majestic received the drilling permits for the Navidad and Santo Niño underground operations at Santa Elena in Sonora. ON DEALS AND CORPORATE ISSUES, Sierra Madre and First Majestic closed the Del Toro mine acquisition in Zacatecas. Discovery Silver, Americas Gold and Silver, Sierra Madre Gold and Silver and Minera Alamos released AGM results. Equinox Gold and Orla Mining updated on inner proceedings regarding their merger. Canasil is to change name to Canadian Silver. Minera Alamos formalized its name change to Mining Americas. Silver Spruce Resources disclosed board changes. Mustang Minerals sells El Cobre, in Veracruz. Frontera Copper and Kupari Investments set Piedras Verdes mine in Sonora for sale. ON SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, Equinox Gold published its 2025 sustainability report (Los Filos, Guerrero).

Minera Sinda debuta en el NYSE

La minera Sinda Ltd., con sede en el estado de Guanajuato, ha puesto números a su esperada Oferta Pública Inicial (OPI) en el New York Stock Exchange. La compañía, que posee concesiones de oro y plata en México, busca recaudar hasta 235.2 millones de dólares con la colocación de 17.75 millones de acciones, fijando un precio por papel que oscilará entre los 11.25 y 13.25 dólares.

Aunque la empresa, cuyo chairman ejecutivo es Daniel Muñiz Quintanilla, aún no se encuentra en fase de producción comercial, una meta que proyecta para 2031, los recursos de la OPI se destinarán íntegramente a…..
