The Mining and Exploration News in Mexico; Highlights on the Fourth Week of July 2026

During the 30th week of the year (July 20th to July 26th, 2026), 22 companies working in Mexico posted press releases. Two companies presented activities on early-stage work. Six companies presented quarterly reports. One company closed a bought deal financing, another one began trading on the Canadian Securities Exchange, and a further one announced a dividend. Four companies presented drilling results from advanced properties. Two companies completed their merger, another company acquired two other companies, shareholders of two companies approved their merger, one more presented AGM results and a further one announced its expansion plans. ON MEXICO ISSUES, no relevant news. ON EXPLORATION, In Sonora, Tocvan Ventures presented drilling results from Gran Pilar. In Chihuahua, Kingsmen Resources delivered results from drilling at Las Coloradas. ON MINING, Luca Mining, Altius Minerals, Avino Silver & Gold Mines, Americas Gold and Silver, Teck Resources and Newmont presented quarterly releases. ON FINANCING. Altius Minerals closed a C$181.5 M bought deal public offering. Centenario Gold commenced trading on the Canadian Securities Exchange. Teck Resources announced a dividend. ON RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT, Coeur Mining provided an exploration update for Palmarejo, in Chihuahua, and Las Chispas, in Sonora. Silver Storm presented results from drilling at La Parrilla, in Durango. Silver Viper released results from drilling the El Rubí zone at La Virginia, in Sonora. Defiance Silver posted drilling assays from the San Acacio deposit, at its Zacatecas Silver project in Zacatecas. ON DEALS AND CORPORATE ISSUES, Mexican Gold Mining and Alcon Silver completed the arrangement to create Platuro Metals. Canasil Resources announced results from its AGM. Orla Mining and Equinox Gold shareholders approved their merger. Goldgroup Mining presented its growth strategy.  ON SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, no relevant news.

During the 29th week of the year (July 13 to July 19, 2026), at least 26 press releases were issued by companies operating in Mexico and 1 news published by the media. Of these, eight related to deals and corporate matters, six covered resource and development updates, five announcing financing activities, four reported production results, two presented exploration results and two addressed Mexican-related issues. ON MEXICO ISSUES, Torex Gold, Advance Metals, and Minaurum Silver reported the best drilling intercepts in Mexico on the third week of July, 2027. Gold Royalty informed that it will release Q2, 2026 results on August 5, 2026. Mining Americas reported Q2, 2026 results. Altius provided and update of its project generation business activities and its junior equities portfolio. ON FINANCING, Pinnacle arranged a non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of up to USD $2.2M. Riverside completed an initial founder financing for Ravena Resources in advance of proposed TSX Venture Spinout. Altius Minerals announced a bought deal public offering for gross proceeds of CAD $181.5M. Mexican Gold closed its previously announced non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of CAD $2,299,000, and will change its name to Platauro Metals Corp-, effective on or about July 20, 2026. Zacatecas Silver announced a non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of up to CAD $2.5M to advance Oso Negro drill program in Sonora. ON RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT, Silverco Begins Exploration Drilling at La Negra Project in Queretaro. Torex reported results from the drilling and exploration programs at ELG underground and the Media Luna Cluster in Guerrero. Minaurum engaged SGS Metallurgy and Consulting Geological Services to update the Mineral Resource Estimate on its Alamos Silver project in Sonora. Sierra Madre received drill permits from SEMARNAT to commence drilling at the East district of the Guitarra mine in State of Mexico. Silver Storm commenced hot commissioning of the sulphide circuit at La Parrilla mine in Durango. Tocvan announced a development plan for pilot mine operations at its Gran Pilar project in Sonora. Advance Metals reported drill results from its Gavilanes project in Durango. ON DEALS AND CORPORATE ISSUES, Silver Storm amended the Samsung prepayment agreement and secured CAD $5M Loan from First Majestic. Vizsla Royalties received shareholders and court approval for plan of arrangement with Elemental Royalty. Southern Silver engaged the services of ICP Securities to provide automated market making services. Goldgroup and Gold Resource are expected to commence trading under the ticker symbol “GORO” on the NYSE American LLC after the closing of the merger. Apollo Silver announced the resignation of Ross McElroy as President and CEO, and resigned from the Board of Directors: Colin P Sutherland will assume the role of President and CEO, effective July 15, 2026. Gold Resource received notification from the FTSE Russell that following the company´s previously announced merger with Goldgroup, the combined company will not eligible for inclusion in the Russell 2000. During the 26th week of the year (June 22nd to June 28th, 2026), 23 companies working in Mexico posted press releases. As you can see below, the markets are hardly making investments in mining right now and companies are now making deals, rearranging and preparing. Not a single company informed on early-stage property work. One company reached a labor pay agreement, another secured land access and one more mobilized an underground mining crew. One company announced its IPO. Two companies released drill results on their properties while one more received a drilling permit.  One company is advancing a mine restart plan and another one received construction permits for two underground operations. Thirteen companies presented news on deals and corporate issues. ON MEXICO ISSUES, no relevant news. ON EXPLORATION, no relevant news. ON MINING, Orla Mining reached an agreement on a bonus for its workforce. Silverco Mining mobilized underground contractors at Cusi in Chihuahua. Equinox Gold secured land access to Los Filos in Guerrero (production was halted back in April 2025 by the lack of it). ON FINANCING. Sinda Ltd. launched its IPO on NYSE. ON RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT, Capitan Silver received a key drill permit for Cruz de Plata in Durango. Zacatecas Silver increased the resource at Esperanza, in Morelos. Luca Mining released assays from drilling at Campo Morado in Guerrero. Goldgroup Mining is advancing on the restart of the San Francisco mine in Sonora. Heliostar Metals announced drilling results from Ana Paula in Guerrero. First Majestic received the drilling permits for the Navidad and Santo Niño underground operations at Santa Elena in Sonora. ON DEALS AND CORPORATE ISSUES, Sierra Madre and First Majestic closed the Del Toro mine acquisition in Zacatecas. During the 25th week of the year (June 15 to June 21, 2026), at least 39 press releases were issued by companies operating in Mexico and 1 news published by the media. Of these, nineteen related to deals and corporate matters, twelve covered resource and development updates, four announcing financing activities, three presented exploration results, and two addressed Mexican-related issues.  ON MEXICO ISSUES, USA activated USMCA labor mechanism against Newmont Peñasquito in Zacatecas. Regency Silver, Heliostar Metals, Endeavour, IMPACT Silver, Capitan Silver, Oroco, and Mercado Minerals reported the best drilling intercepts in Mexico on the third week of June, 2026. ON EXPLORATION, In Sonora, Regency Silver reported drill results from its Dios padre project. In Sinaloa, Mercado Minerals announced drill results from its Copalito project. In Guerrero, J2 Metals identified three new historic mining workings at its Sierra de Plata project. ON MINING, No relevant news. ON FINANCING, Mexican Gold announced that it plans to complete a non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of up to CAD $2,250,000. Southern Silver closed the first tranche of a non-brokered LIFE private placement for gross proceeds of CAD $2,200,099.55. Garibaldi updated proposed financing under the LIFE offering exemption. Xali informed that the previously announced non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of CAD $1M has been fully subscribed.  ON RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT, Capitan Silver announced that it intersected high-grade mineralization in multiple holes at Cruz de Plata project, Durango.  IMPACT Silver releases new drill results from its producing Noche Buena mine in the Royal Mines of Zacualpan District, State of Mexico. Zacatecas Silver completed 2,2027m diamond drill program at el Cristo in the Zacatecas Mining District. Vizsla awarded the equipment supply agreement to FLSmidth for the Panuco project, Sinaloa.  Kootenay Silver announced a positive PEA for La Cigarra Silver project in Chihuahua, and later announced a correction. Oroco reported assay results from its Phase 2 resource drilling program at Santo Tomas project, Sinaloa. Heliostar announced drill results from the Veta Madre pit at its La Colorada mine in Sonora, and received the final documentation for the change of use of soils permit for the Veta Madre pit expansion. Southern Silver began infill drilling program at Puro Corazon Target at its Cerro Las Minitas project. Durango. Goldgroup commenced 24,000m diamond drilling at its San Francisco mine in Sonora. Endeavour released positive drill results from its drilling program at Terronera mine, Jalisco. Silver Storm secured permits for the construction of 62 drill pads and 27 access roads from SEMARNAT for its La Parrilla Mine Complex in Durango. ON DEALS AND CORPORATE ISSUES, Aztec Minerals confirmed that it amended the investor relation agreement with Redwood Empire Financial Communications to clarify that the 300,000 stock options granted to the Consultant are exercisable at a price of CAD $0.25 per share for a period of five years from the date of grant.  Colibri provided an update on the acquisition of an additional 10% interest in its Diamante project, and the disposition of its 50% interest in the Jackie project to Silver Spruce, both located in Sonora. Goldgroup closed the purchase of San Francisco mine in Sonora, by acquiring 100% of the Molimentales Del Noroeste S.A., de C.V. Vizsla Royalties filed the notice of special meeting to approve arrangement with Elemental Royalty. Minera Alamos received conditional approval to graduate to list its common shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Elemental Royalty announced inclusion in Russell 3000, Russell 2000, and S&P/TSX Global Gold Index. Orla Mining reported voting results of its annual shareholders’ meeting. Radius Gold announced a strengthening of its leadership team to support next phase of growth.  Starcore qualified to trade on OTCQX under the symbol “SHVLF”. Riverside appointed Marco Strub as an independent Director of the company, effective immediately. Torex Gold reported voting results of its 2026 meeting of shareholders.  Guanajuato Silver accelerated partial repayment of the company´s gold loan with Ocean Partners UK Ltd.  Elemental Royalty published its 2026 assets handbook and announced new corporate website. Aura announced that its Board of Directors approved the repurchase of its common shares and Brazilian Depositary Receipts.  Goldflare entered into a non-binding letter of intent with Quitovac Gold Holdings LLC and Minera Granite S.A. de C.V., to acquire all the issued and outstanding shares of Granite, the legal owner of the Quitovac Gold project in Sonora.  Elemental Royalty declared quarterly dividend. Newmont announced key appointments for the next phase of delivery. Regency Silver invited investors to life webinar to review 2025/2026 drill results at the Dios Padre project in Sonora. The Mining and Exploration News in Mexico; Highlights on the Fourth Week of May 2026

During the 22nd week of the year (May 25th to May 31st, 2026), companies working in Mexico released 21 press releases. One company informed on early-stage property work while six companies presented quarterly reports. One company closed a credit facility, one other secured a working capital facility with the Mexican government, two companies increased their financing rounds, another company declared a dividend, while one more granted stock options. Two companies released drill results on their advanced projects. Two companies announced results of their AGM’s, one changed auditor, another one settled on gold delivery obligations and one other is to report semi-annually. ON MEXICO ISSUES, some paperwork for the mining industry has been simplified. EXPLORATION, in Querétaro, Starcore International Mines reached a community agreement at La Tortilla.  ON MINING, Orogen Royalty, Guanajuato Silver Company, Empress Royalty, Minera Alamos, Sailfish Royalty and Silverco Mining reported quarterly results. ON FINANCING. Minera Alamos closed a US$75 M revolving credit facility and granted stock options. Vizsla Silver secured a working capital agreement with the government for the Pánuco project in Sinaloa. Southern Empire Resources and Sonoro Gold increased their private placements to C$1.75 M and C$15 M respectively, Alamos Gold declared a quarterly dividend, Sonoro Gold.  ON RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT, Axo Metals released drilling results from the San Antonio project in Sonora. Minaurum Silver presented results from expansion drilling at the Alamos Silver project in Sonora. ON DEALS AND CORPORATE ISSUES, Americas Gold and Silver settled an agreement on a fixed gold delivery obligation. Sonoro Gold changed auditor. Alamos Gold and Elemental Royalty announced results from their respective AGM’s. Silver Viper adopted semi-annual reporting ON SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, Torex Gold released its “2025 Responsible  Gold Mining Report” (Morelos Complex, Guerrero). Pan American Silver released its “2025 Sutainability Report” (La Colorada, Zacatecas).
