During the 39th week of the year (September 21 to September 27, 2026), at least 32 press releases were issued by companies operating in Mexico. Of these, eleven related to deals and corporate matters, eleven covered resource and development updates, seven announced financial activities, two presented exploration results, and one reported production issues. ON MEXICO ISSUES, no relevant news. ON EXPLORATION, In Sonora, Algo Grande reported drilling assay results from the Cerro Grande skarn discovery at its Adelita project. In Chihuahua, Kingsmen released additional drilling results from its Las Coloradas project. ON MINING, Endeavour reported temporary reduced capacity at its Guanacevi mine in Durango. ON FINANCING, Equinox announced that it elected to exercise its rights to redeem all of its outstanding USD $172.5 million aggregate principal amount of 4.75% Convertible Senior Notes due October 15, 2028. Vortex Metals upsized its previously announced non-brokered private placement to CAD $1.4M. Silver Tiger announced a CAD $87M Bought Deal Financing and provided an update on the expected capital expenditures for the construction of the mine and process plant for El Tigre in Sonora. Aztec Minerals closed its upsized bought deal private placement for gross proceeds of CAD $6.4M. Silver Dollar announced that it intends to extend the expiry date of 3,022,600 share purchase warrants from October 29, 2026 to October 29, 2027. Silver Spruce received conditional approval from TSX Venture Exchange of its debt settlement of CAD $20,000 to be satisfied by the issuance of 210,526 common shares at a deemed price of $0.095 per share. Goldgroup closed a non brokered private placement for gross proceeds of USD $122M. Minaurum reported advancement of underground rehabilitation and exploration at the historic Promontorio mine in its Alamo Silver project in Sonora. Silverco released a positive Preliminary Economic Assessment for its La Negra mine in Queretaro. Southern Silver reported drill results from its Cerro Las Minitas project in Durango. Minaurum reported high-grade silver drill results from the Europa, Quintera, San Jose, and Promontorio Sur Vein Zones, as part of its ongoing Phase II, 50,000m resource-expansion drilling program at the Alamos Silver Project in Sonora. Torex reported strong results from its ongoing drilling and exploration program at the Morelos property in Guerrero. Luca Mining acquired Cozamin mine in Zacatecas from Capstone Copper Corp. for total upfront consideration of USD $290M and up to an additional USD $95M in deferred and contingent consideration. Of these, twelve related to deals and corporate matters, ten covered resource and development updates, seven presented exploration results, two announced financial activities, one addressed Mexican-related issues, and one reported social issues. ON MEXICO ISSUES, Two alleged members of Los Chapitos arrested for the kidnapping of 10 miners in Sinaloa. During the 36th week of the year (August 31st to September 6th, 2026), 20 companies working in Mexico released press releases. One company reported activities on an early-stage property. There was no news related to mining. Three companies informed on financing rounds for C$ 31.4 M and one other granted stock options. Six companies presented news on resources and development. Eight companies presented news on deals and corporate issues. ON MEXICO ISSUES, no relevant news. ON EXPLORATION, In Sinaloa, Mercado Minerals presented results from surface sampling at the Zamora project. ON MINING, Goldgroup Mining present Q2 2026 financing results. ON FINANCING. Silverco Mining granted stock options. Silver Storm Mining and Algo Grande Copper closed private placements for C$21 M and C$4.8 M respectively. Aztec Minerals upsized its private placement from C$5 M to C$5.6 M. Sailfish Royalty declared a dividend.
