The Mining and Exploration News in Mexico; Highlights on the Third Week of September 2026

During the 38th week of the year (September 14th to September 20th, 2026), 33 companies working in Mexico released press releases. Not a single company reported activities on early-stage projects. One company reported quarterly results. Five companies were added to the GDXJ ETF and one more began trading on the TSX. One company informed on a financing round for US$125 M, another raised A$1.5 M and one more obtained a US$200 M loan facility. Two companies declared a quarterly dividend and one another consolidated its shares. Four companies released drilling results from their advanced properties. One company reported mineral reserves and resources for its properties, one another informed on surface access and one more on an agreement on mining concessions. Twelve companies reported on deals and corporate issues. ON MEXICO ISSUES, no relevant news. ON EXPLORATION, no relevant news. ON MINING, Starcore International Mines presented quarterly results. ON FINANCING. Heliostar Metals, Elemental Royalty, Silver Tiger, Silver Storm Mining and Sinda were included on the GDXJ. Goldgroup Mining upsized its private placement to US$125 M. Santacruz Silver Mining is to trade on the TSX. Elemental Royalty declared a dividend. EVR raised A$1.5 M and consolidated its shares. Aura Minerals secured a US$200 M loan facility. ON RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT, Capitan Silver announced drilling results from its Cruz de Plata project in Durango. Apollo Silver informed on community support at Cinco de Mayo, in Chihuahua. Axo Metals reported step out drilling results at San Antonio, in Sonora. Kootenay Silver released drilling results from Columba, in Chihuahua. Pan American Silver reported mineral reserves and resources, including several of its Mexican properties. Americas Gold and Silver announced good drilling results from Cosalá in Sinaloa. ON DEALS AND CORPORATE ISSUES, Sailfish Royalty entered into an agreement with Mako Mining. Pacifica Silver and Silver Tiger announced AGM results. Fresnillo plc reported on board changes. Elemental Royalty completed the acquisition of Vizsla Royalties. Minaurum Silver announced management appointments. Orex Minerals informed on reporting framework. Zacatecas Silver announced a services agreement. Xali Gold provided an update on its Mexican properties. EV Resources changed name to Antimony Resources. Mercado Minerals signed a LOI to acquire more mining concessions at the Zamora project in Sinaloa. ON SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, no relevant news.

During the 37th week of the year (September 07 to September 13, 2026), at least 32 press releases were issued by companies operating in Mexico, and 1 news published by the media. Of these, twelve related to deals and corporate matters, ten covered resource and development updates, seven presented exploration results, two announced financial activities, one addressed Mexican-related issues, and one reported social issues. ON MEXICO ISSUES, Two alleged members of Los Chapitos arrested for the kidnapping of 10 miners in Sinaloa. ON EXPLORATION, In Sonora, Riverside and its JV Partner Questcorp released assay results from the Phase 2A 2026 core drilling program at the Union project, Zacatecas Silver reported assay results from the second phase of rock chip sampling at its Oso Negro project, Algo Grande announced drill results from its Adelita project, and Tocvan confirmed gold mineralization along El Mezquite trend at its Gran Pilar project. In Nayarit, Miravalles Gold filed an independent technical report for its Fairfield project. In Durango, Pinnacle announced that its ongoing drilling program at El Potrero project has confirmed and extended the previously announced high-grade gold-silver mineralization at the historic Pinos Cuates mine.    ON MINING, No relevant news. ON FINANCING, DynaResource received USD $4M in IVA tax refund.  Goldgroup announced a non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of up to USD $75M. ON RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT, Luca Mining released new assay results from its ongoing drill program at the Tahuehueto project, Durango. Zacatecas Silver announced drill assays from El Cristo drill program in Zacatecas. GR Silver reported that its ongoing 20,000m drill program at San Marcial project, Sinaloa continues to deliver significant drill intercepts confirming extension of mineralization beyond the current mineral resource estimate area. Goldgroup reported strong assay results of the six first drillholes from its ongoing 26,000m drill campaign at its San Francisco mine, Sonora. First Majestic announced positive results from its ongoing 2026 drilling program and expands exploration footprint at San Dimas project Durango. Defiance Silver provided the results on the drilling campaign on the San Acacio resource drilling program on the Zacatecas project. Oroco reported the fourth batch of assay results from its Phase 2 resource drilling program at its Santo Tomas project in Sinaloa. Sierra Madre announced that the twin diesel electric generators have been installed at La Guitarra mine in the State of Mexico. Silver Tiger reported exploration results for the 2026 summer program at its El Tigre project in Sonora. Goldgroup provided an overview of its Oaxaca mining operations and regional land package. ON DEALS AND CORPORATE ISSUES, Starlo Ventures entered into a binding letter of intent to acquire a 100% interest in and to the Margarita project, Chihuahua. Discovery Mining announced the appointment of William Shaver to the Board of Directors, as well as a number of senior appointments and executive promotions. Santacruz received conditional approval from the Toronto Stock Exchange to list its common shares. Americas Gold and Silver, Avino, and Discovery Mining announced that they have been named to the 2026 TSX30™, the Toronto Stock Exchange’s annual ranking of the 30 top-performing companies based on dividend-adjusted share price performance over a three-year period.  Elemental Royalty received approval from Mexico´s antitrust agency with respect to the acquisition of Vizsla Royalties. Guanajuato Silver appointed Colin Bower as Chief Operating Officer. Regency Silver agreed to acquire a 100% interest in the past producing Jabali Gold project, Sonora. GR Silver granted stock options to certain directors, officers, employees, and consultants. Apollo Silver announced a community assembly at which members of the Ejido are expected to vote on lifting the moratorium on mineral exploration and development affecting lands which include the Cinco de Mayo project, which is expected to be held on September 20, 2026. Mining Americas changed its auditor from McGovern Hurley LLP to Ernst & Young LLP. ON SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, Algo Grand received a BB rating in its first Digbee ESG assessment, covering both the Company and its 100%-owned Adelita Project in Sonora, Mexico.

During the 35th week of the year (August 24 to August 30, 2026), at least 25 press releases were issued by companies operating in Mexico. Of these, six reported production results, six related to deals and corporate matters, six covered resource and development updates, six announced financing activities, and one presented exploration results. ON MEXICO ISSUES, No relevant news. ON EXPLORATION, In Sonora, Tocvan reported new surface exploration results from a target located 4km north of the main Zone at its Gran Pilar project.    ON MINING, Orogen, Sailfish, Guanajuato Silver, Sierra Madre reported Q2, 2026 results. Silverco filed Q2, 2026 financial statements and MD & A and provided corporate update. Heliostar commenced the open pit mining at the Veta Madre in La Colorada mine, Sonora. ON FINANCING, Silver Storm increased the size of its previously announced non-brokered private placement from CAD $7.5M to CAD $15M. Silver Storm closed CAD $14.625M first tranche of non-brokered private placement and announced further upsize up to CAD $21M. Pinnacle extended the closing date of its previously announced non-brokered private placement to September 26, 2026. Algo Grande informed that it has upsized its previously announced non-brokered private placement from CAD $3M to up to CAD $5M. Alamos Gold declared quarterly dividend of USD $0.04 per common share. Centenario closed non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of USD $1.5M.  ON RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT, Silverco Mining provided la Negra mine operations update. GoGold announces the formal commencement of site construction at Los Ricos South in Jalisco.  Minaurum reported drill results from the Europa, Quintera, and San Jose Vein zones as part of its ongoing Phase II, 50,000m resource-expansion drilling program at its Alamos Silver project in Sonora.  First Majestic filed NI43-101 Technical Report for the Los Gatos mine, Chihuahua. Mithril reported drill results from its Copalquin project, Durango.  Mammoth announced that it commenced field activities at its Tenoriba project, Chihuahua. ON DEALS AND CORPORATE ISSUES, Xali announced its participation at the upcoming Moody Capital Solution 2026 Disruptive Growth & Life Sciences Conference, taking place September 9–10, 2026, in New York City. Tocvan closed its purchase agreement with Colibri to acquire the remaining 49% interest in two original Pilar mining concessions, and now holds 100% ownership of its flagship Gran Pilar project in Sonora. Colibri completed the sale of 49% interest in the Pilar project in Sonora for CAD $3.6M plus 1% Net Smelting Royalty. Sonoro Gold acquired a 100% interest in 23 mineral concessions and up to 51% interest in five additional mineral concessions to further expand its Cerro Caliche project in Sonora. Mercado Minerals signed community agreement with Ejido Rincon de Ibonia at its Zamora project, Sinaloa.  Silver Viper announced the resignation of Arthur Freeze as Director of the company, effective August 23, 2026.
