By a fair margin gold intercepts during the fourth quarter were dominated by two projects in Guerrero: Ana Paula and the Morelos Complex. Ana Paula is a complex deposit with skarn and replacement mineralization where Heliostar Metals is defining a high-grade core for underground mining, and at the Morelos Complex Torex Gold is drilling several deposits to sustain its production of more than 400 K Oz Au per year for several years. Other skarn deposits in the list with significant gold grades include Camino Rojo (another complex deposit with skarn, replacement and intermediate sulfidation mineralization) in Zacatecas and and La Parrilla in Durango.
As for epithermal deposits, the highest numbers are from Panuco (low to intermediate sulfidation), in Sinaloa, followed by La Colorada in Sonora (low sulfidation?), Cristina in Chiuahua (Intermediate sulfidation related to a porphyry copper system), Copalquin in Durango (low sulfidation), La Colorada in Zacatecas (intermediate sulfidation), Los Reyes in Sinaloa (low sulfidation), the Valenciana Mine Complex and Pinguico in Guanajuato (low sulfidation), Cerro Los Gatos Exploration (low sulfidation) and Cerro Los Gatos (intermediate sulfidation) in Chihuahua and Diamante in Sonora (intermediate sulfidation related to a porphyry copper system).
Galore Resources has not published enough geological information on the Dos Santos project in Zacatecas to make an educated guess on the style of mineralization present.
