VANCOUVER, Jan. 20, 2017 /CNW/ – Kootenay Silver Inc.  (TSXV: KTN) (the “Company” or “Kootenay”) reports that at its annual general meeting held on November 30, 2016, that Shareholders voted in favor of all items of business before the meeting, including the election of the following incumbent directors for the ensuing year: Kenneth E. Berry, James M. McDonald, Brian Groves, Joseph P. Giuffre, Nathaniel Jon Morda, Andrea Zaradic and Antonio Reda.

Additionally, the Company reports stock options have been granted to officers, directors and consultants of the Company to purchase up to an aggregate of 6.695 million shares at a price of $0.40 per share for a period of five years.
