Mexico’s Best Drilling Intercepts, Fourth Week of February 2024

Three companies released during the week results from drilling in Mexican properties. Orla Mining’s intercepts on the Camino Rojo Sulphides project, 450 m down plunge from the current mineral resources are meaningful, as the mineralization style is changing from the intermediate sulfidation epithermal stockwork in the Carcoles Formation sandstone, to semi massive to massive replacement sulphides in the underlying Cuesta del Cura Limestone.

Silver Storm’s results at La Parrilla property highlight the robust widths and grades at the Quebradillas mine, extending the known replacement mineralization for up to 74 m below the last mine workings. At Primo Metals’ Los Pavitos project in Sonora, the results although not impressive, extend the known area of orogenic gold mineralization by 2.5 km.
