Mexico’s Best Drilling Intercepts, Fourth Week of September 2026

Six companies released results from drilling projects in Mexico during the week.

Torex Gold Resources reported results from drilling at its Morelos property in Guerrero, which encompasses the Limón-Guajes and Media Luna mines, as well as the Media Luna North, Media Luna West, Media Luna East, EPO and ELG Underground deposits, and the San Miguel Corridor target. Impressive gold, silver and copper grades in long intervals from the San Miguel Corridor, Media Luna mine, Media Luna North, Media Luna East and from ELG Underground were announced. Southern Silver Exploration reported assays from five definition holes on the Puro Corazón target at its Cerro Las Minitas property in Durango. “These initial results are from the ongoing 14,000 metre core hole drill program that was started in June ’26 and is designed to upgrade resource classification in the Puro Corazon target. The current drill program will test an area that is roughly a 200 metres strike-length by 300 metres down dip within the Puro Corazon claim.” Mineralization present at Cerro Las Minitas is of carbonate replacement deposits (CRD) and skarn deposit styles.

Kootenay Silver announced assays results from expansion drilling along the Lupe vein at its Columba project in Chihuahua. The company has completed more than 30,000 m of drilling on its 60,000 m program, with 51 holes reported to date. “Drilling has outlined the Lupe Vein system over approximately 520 meters of strike and 450 meters of vertical extent, and it remains open for expansion”. Columba presents mineralization of intermediate sulfidation epithermal affinity.

Algo Grande Copper reported the remaining results from one drill hole at its Adelita project in Sonora. The results confirmed the presence of two mineralized intervals. Adelita presents skarn mineralization deemed distal to a porphyry copper system.

Kingsmen Resources reported results from one more drill hole at its Las Coloradas project in Chihuahua. On the #8 structure, “… the mineralization appears as a multidirectional stockwork of massive sulfides within pervasive phyllic alteration. The massive sulfides are accompanied by massive calcite, massive white quartz, and translucent quartz.” Las Coloradas is a good example of intermediate sulfidation epithermal veins.

Minaurum Silver informed on drill results from the Europa, Quintera, San José and Promontorio Sur vein zones, at its Alamos silver project in Sonora. These results are part of the ongoing phase II, 50,000 m resource expansion drilling program. Mineralization at Alamos Silver presents characteristics of intermediate sulfidation epithermal systems.

During the 39th week of the year (September 21 to September 27, 2026), at least 32 press releases were issued by companies operating in Mexico. Of these, eleven related to deals and corporate matters, eleven covered resource and development updates, seven announced financial activities, two presented exploration results, and one reported production issues. ON MEXICO ISSUES, no relevant news. ON EXPLORATION, In Sonora, Algo Grande reported drilling assay results from the Cerro Grande skarn discovery at its Adelita project. In Chihuahua, Kingsmen released additional drilling results from its Las Coloradas project.  ON MINING, Endeavour reported temporary reduced capacity at its Guanacevi mine in Durango. ON FINANCING, Equinox announced that it elected to exercise its rights to redeem all of its outstanding USD $172.5 million aggregate principal amount of 4.75% Convertible Senior Notes due October 15, 2028. Vortex Metals upsized its previously announced non-brokered private placement to CAD $1.4M. Silver Tiger announced a CAD $87M Bought Deal Financing and provided an update on the expected capital expenditures for the construction of the mine and process plant for El Tigre in Sonora. Aztec Minerals closed its upsized bought deal private placement for gross proceeds of CAD $6.4M. Silver Dollar announced that it intends to extend the expiry date of 3,022,600 share purchase warrants from October 29, 2026 to October 29, 2027. Silver Spruce received conditional approval from TSX Venture Exchange of its debt settlement of CAD $20,000 to be satisfied by the issuance of 210,526 common shares at a deemed price of $0.095 per share. Goldgroup closed a non brokered private placement for gross proceeds of USD $122M. ON RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT, Antimony Resources informed that its Tecomatlán antimony processing plant in Puebla advance toward wet commissioning and the processing of prepared mineralized material. Chesapeake provided an update on its proprietary heap oxidation technology.  GoGold provided an update on the construction of its Los Ricos South project in Jalisco. Heliostar announced progress update on Ana Paula Feasibility Study. Kootenay reported drill results from Lupe Vein at its Columba project in Chihuahua. Mammoth Resources provided and update on its field activities at its Tenoriba project in Chihuahua. Minaurum reported advancement of underground rehabilitation and exploration at the historic Promontorio mine in its Alamo Silver project in Sonora.  Silverco released a positive Preliminary Economic Assessment for its La Negra mine in Queretaro. Southern Silver reported drill results from its Cerro Las Minitas project in Durango. Minaurum reported high-grade silver drill results from the Europa, Quintera, San Jose, and Promontorio Sur Vein Zones, as part of its ongoing Phase II, 50,000m resource-expansion drilling program at the Alamos Silver Project in Sonora. Torex reported strong results from its ongoing drilling and exploration program at the Morelos property in Guerrero.   ON DEALS AND CORPORATE ISSUES, Americas Gold and Silver announced that it will participate in Reuters Momentum AI Austin 2026. Barksdale announced the appointment of George Ogilvie as Chairman, David Lotan as Director Nominee, Chris Stewart as President and Chief Executive Officer and David Birch as Chief Financial Officer. Capital Silver announced that it will participate in the Gentile Mining Investor Forum in London. Elementary Royalty acquired an uncapped 2.5% gross revenue royalty covering Silverco´s La Negra mine in Queretaro. Apollo Silver reported that Ejido Benito Juarez in Buenaventura Municipality in Chihuahua called a second community assembly to consider lifting the moratorium on mineral exploration affecting the Cinco de Mayo project, and later on clarified misleading media reports. Luca Mining acquired Cozamin mine in Zacatecas from Capstone Copper Corp. for total upfront consideration of USD $290M and up to an additional USD $95M in deferred and contingent consideration. Silver Hammer announced that its common shares have been approved for trading on the OTCQB Venture Market in the United States under the symbol “HAMRF” and that its common shares are now eligible for electronic clearing and settlement through the Depository Trust Company in the United States. Regency Silver announced that it has been selected to present at the 26th MK-Equity Investment Conference, hosted by MK-Equity, the family office of Michael Kott, on Wednesday, September 30th, 2026, in Munich, Germany. Royalties Inc. reported the Zacatecas Attorney General formally serves Capstone Copper’s Cozamin Mine with criminal document demand for production evidence. During the 38th week of the year (September 14th to September 20th, 2026), 33 companies working in Mexico released press releases. Not a single company reported activities on early-stage projects. One company reported quarterly results. Five companies were added to the GDXJ ETF and one more began trading on the TSX. One company informed on a financing round for US$125 M, another raised A$1.5 M and one more obtained a US$200 M loan facility. Two companies declared a quarterly dividend and one another consolidated its shares. Four companies released drilling results from their advanced properties. One company reported mineral reserves and resources for its properties, one another informed on surface access and one more on an agreement on mining concessions. Twelve companies reported on deals and corporate issues. ON MEXICO ISSUES, no relevant news. ON EXPLORATION, no relevant news. ON MINING, Starcore International Mines presented quarterly results. ON FINANCING. Heliostar Metals, Elemental Royalty, Silver Tiger, Silver Storm Mining and Sinda were included on the GDXJ. Goldgroup Mining upsized its private placement to US$125 M. Mexico’s Best Drilling Intercepts, Third Week of September 2026

Four companies released results from drilling projects in Mexico during the week.

Axo Metals announced results from 29 holes representing approximately 5,000 m of drilling. These are the first resource growth and step out drilling done in the property since its acquisition by the company. The project is within the San Javier mining district in Sonora, displaying clear iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) mineralization.

Capitan Silver reported results from 35 drill holes from its 60,000 m diamond and reverse circulation drill programs at its Cruz de Plata project in Durango. The results are from the three major target areas of the Jesús María Silver Trend, expanding known mineralization to 2.8 km. “The remainder of the 60,000 m program for this area is focused on drilling the strike length of the Jesus Maria Silver Trend to a depth of 500 m vertically from surface with down-dip step outs increasing to 80 to 175 m with diamond drilling. The RC rig is now fully dedicated to drilling newly-permitted targets”. The Jesús María zone presents intermediate sulfidation epithermal mineralization, while the gold resource at Capitan Hill is in a low sulfidation epithermal system.

Kootenay Silver reported assay results from  expansion drilling along the D vein at its Columba project in Chihuahua. “The current exploration work comprises a phased 60,000-metre drill program focused on expanding the resource detailed in the Company’s recent NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate”. Columba contains mineralization with intermediate sulfidation epithermal characteristics.

Americas Gold and Silver announced drill results from the ongoing resource conversion drilling program at the Coslá Complex in Sinaloa. “The assays released are a result of infill and step-out drilling conducted in 1H 2026 at the San Rafael Upper, 120 Upper and 120 Lower deposit”. Mineralization at the property includes exoskarn, endoskarn, carbonate replacement (CRD), mantos and chimneys.
