Five companies presented drilling results from projects in Mexico during the week. Gold Resource’s Don David mine in Oaxaca, Vizsla Silver’s Panuco project in Sinaloa, Prime Mining’s Los Reyes project in Sinaloa, Kootenay Silver’s Columba ´project in Chihuahua and Fortuna Silver’s San Jose mine in Oaxaca, are all part of intermediate to low sulfidation epithermal systems. Although distant, these projects share a Tertiary age of formation in volcanic rocks of diverse composition overlying (where basement outcrops are near by) Mesozoic sedimentary rocks, or the Mesozoic Guerrero composite Terrain.
