Five companies reported results of drilling on Mexican projects during the first week of March 2023. The five properties present epithermal mineralization of low to intermediate sulfidation character deposited along structures and/or related stockworks and dissemination on favorable rocks.
Vizsla’s Silver Panuco project in Sinaloa presented the higher grade gold intercept, with 15.0 m averaging 7.20 gpt Au (108 gpt*m). The released intercepts are part of the resource area of the Copala structure at its Panuco project in Sinaloa. Other relevant gold results are those coming from Gold Resource’s Don Diego mine in Oaxaca, with 4.21 m at 7.93 gpt Au and Prime Mining’s Los Reyes property in Sinaloa with 15.80 m averaging 1.40 gpt Au.
On silver, the strongest intercept was that by Vizsla’s at its Panuco project with 15.0 m grading 1,142 gpt Ag (or 17,130 gpt *m), followed by Silver Tiger’s intercept of 57.20 m averaging 232 gpt Ag (or 13,270 gpt*m) from its El Tigre project.
Base metals intercepts were led by results from Silver Tiger’s El Tigre , with 57.20 grading 0.41% Cu and 20.0 m at 4.11% Pb, 8.15% Zn on the Sulfide zone still being defined.
