Orex Starts a 3,000 Metres Drilling Program on the Sandra Escobar Silver Project in Durango, Mexico

VANCOUVER, July 12, 2016 /CNW/ – Orex Minerals Inc. – (TSX-V: REX) (“Orex”), has commenced a new round of diamond drilling on the Sandra Escobar Silver Project in northern Durango State, Mexico. This Phase-III drilling program will consist of approximately 3,000 metres in 20 to 25 drill holes.  The Sandra Escobar Project is being advanced by Orex under an option agreement with Canasil Resources Inc. – (TSX.V: CLZ) (“Canasil”).

To date, Orex has drilled 4,500 metres in 38 diamond drill holes in the southeastern region of the project. Thirty three of these holes are being utilized for a soon to be announced initial resource estimate (see Orex news release 11 May 2016).

Orex’s President, Gary Cope says, “As we look forward to the results of metallurgical testing and the initial resource estimate, we are pleased that diamond drilling is once again underway on Sandra Escobar.”
