The table below displays drilling results from two projects in Mexico, the first results published this week and the second published the previous one.

Advance Metals reported further results from its ongoing maiden drill program at the Gavilanes project in Durango. The program is focused “on growing and converting this existing mineralized system while progressively testing the wider project for the first time”. The 136 Km2 project host numerous mapped veins and while the drilling to date has centered on extensions of the Descubridora structure, increasing polymetallic mineralization is being encountered at depth. The property displays intermediate sulfidation epithermal mineralization and contains an historic resource of 2.83 M tonnes at 246 gpt AgEq, containing 22.4 M Oz AgEq.

The results omitted from last week’s compilation are from Oroco Resource’s Santo Tomás project in Sinaloa. The company released a third set of assays from its Phase 2 resource drilling program focused on the South Zone. The program is designed to convert inferred resources to the indicated category and to collect geotechnical, hydrogeological, and additional metallurgical data required for the pre-feasibility study (PFS). Santo Tomás is a porphyry copper style deposit and stands out as one of the few projects of this type currently being explored and reported on in the country.
