Mexico’s Best Drilling Intercepts, Fourth Week of August 2025

Three companies announced during the week results from drilling campaigns on projects in Mexico.

Heliostar Metals announced results from the 15,000 m drill program at its Ana Paula project in Guerrero. Two rigs have completed 18 holes and 5,556 m to date along a section with angled holes to best define the orientation of the High Grade Panel zone. “Heliostar’s drilling approach at Ana Paula has been to rotate drilling by approximately 90- degrees from the majority of historic intercepts….” to demonstrate a more continuous and higher-grade mineralization than previously contemplated. The complex gold mineralization is hosted in sulfide rich breccias, replacements, minor skarn and a late epithermal overprint in Cretaceous sedimentary rocks.

At the Campo Morado mine in Guerrero, Luca Mining presented results from the ongoing resource expansion and exploration drilling campaign. The intervals presented on the press release are from six surface and five underground holes from the Reforma Deposit and adjacent to underground operations. Campo Morado is one of several volcanogenic massive sulfide deposits (VMS) in Central southern Mexico.

Mithril Silver and Gold released results from drilling the La Soledad and Zaragoza veins at its Copalquin project in Durango. Mineraization in the district is a clear example of low sulfidation epithermal mineralization.
