Mexico’s Best Drilling Intercepts, Fifth Week of July 2025

Impact Silver, Gold Resource Corp. and Guanajuato Silver Company released results from drilling campaigns in Mexico during the week.

Impact Silver presented drill intervals from the Santo Domingo zone at its currently producing Plomosas mine in Chihuahua. All the intersections presented lie outside the mineral resource published by the previous operator, and are close to active mine workings. The Santo Domingo zone remains open for exploration and drilling is continuing. Mineralization is of carbonate replacement deposit (CRD) style.

Gold Resource Corp. released drill intercepts from the operating Don David mine in Oaxaca. The underground diamond drill program focused on ore definition and grade-control within the Three Sisters vein system and in select veins of the Arista system, encountering significant vein widths and grades. A total of 6,615 m of underground definition and ore-control drill holes were completed during the first half of 2025. The Three Sisters and Gloria vein systems remain open to the northwest, up-dip and at depth. Mineralization is of intermediate sulfidation epithermal characteristics.

Finally, Guanajuato silver Company provided results from drilling at the Valenciana Mines Complex in Guanajuato. “During the first quarter of 2025, a total of approximately 475 metres of diamond drilling was completed in the Santa Margarita and Maravillas areas at the Valenciana Mines Complex”. Mineralization in the Guanajuato District is a good example of low sulfidation epithermal mineralization.
