Impact Silver and Luca Mining presented results from drilling campaigns in Mexico during the week.

Impact Silver results are from the Juarez Zone at its Plomosas mine in Chihuahua. “The Juarez Zone lies stratigraphically below the Mina Vieja (Tres Amigos Mine) horizon at the Plomosas Mine and has a separate access adit ….  mineralization remains open for exploration in all directions and drilling is continuing”. These intersections on the Jaurez Zone lie outside the JORC mineral resource published by the previous operator. The mineralization is probably of carbonate replacement deposits (CRD) style.

Luca Mining released results from surface and underground drilling at the Campo Morado mine in Guerrero, where the program includes 2,500 m of diamond drilling focused on definition and expansion of the Reforma and El Rey Deposits. Those two deposits are part of thirty-eight priority targets, of which many remain untested by drilling. The company plans include 5,000 m of underground drilling and 2,500 m of surface drilling during this phase. The polymetallic mineralization at Campo Morado is of Volcanogenic Massive Sulfides (VMS) style.
