A good number of properties reported lead and zinc intercepts from drilling of properties in Mexico during the quarter. Mention apart deserves Pan American Silver’s La Colorada Skarn project in Zacatecas, showing intercepts with an order of magnitude greater lead and zinc content than any of the other intercepts reported in the period. As if that was not enough for Pan American Silver, the second better results for both lead and zinc come also from its adjacent La Colorada mine, although from mineralization in veins.
With the Exception of La Parrilla, Plomosas and Camino Rojo Sulphide Extension, with skarn and/or carbonate replacement mineralization, the other intercepts reported come from strongly structurally controlled intermediate sulfidation mineralization.
