Mexico’s Best Drilling Intercepts, Third Week of October 2023

After a week without drilling results news, three companies posted drilling intercepts from their properties in Mexico. Prismo Metals released good gold intercepts from their maiden drilling program at Los Pavitos, in Sonora. Endeavour Silver released gold and silver results from the Guanaceví mine in Durango, and Kootenay Silver from silver, lead and zinc results from the Columba project, in Chihuahua.

Los Pavitos seems to form part of the scattering of orogenic gold style prospects along the western coast of Mexico, from Baja California to Chiapas., although Prismo is still trying to confirm the mineralization style.

The Guanaceví property mineralization is of low sulfidation epithermal affinity, while Kootenay’s Silver’s Columba project displays intermediate sulfidation epithermal mineralization.
