Of the several reported copper intervals in the drilling of Mexican properties during the second quarter of 2023, the most significant are those from Santo Tomás in Sinaloa, by Oroco Resource; where the company is aiming to produce an updated mineral resource for the porphyry style deposit .

At the Avino mine in Durango, Avino Silver & Gold Mines is encountering wider intercepts of higher grade copper at depth on the Avino vein system, which makes the company’s geologists think on the possibility of a near porphyry copper environment.

Regency Silver presented good copper results from drilling breccias in the Dios Padre project, within the Santa Rosa de Yecora district, known for its mineralization associated to breccia bodies (Santana mine by Minera Alamos; Mercedes, by Magna Gold).

Silver Tiger presented results from El Tigre, in Sonora, and Gold Resource from Don David, in Oaxaca.
