Mexico’s Best Drilling Intercepts on the Fourth Week of November 2022

Only three companies released drilling results during the 47th week of the year, and one of these did not have high grade intercepts. The low to intermediate sulfidation San Marcial system in Sinaloa, owned by GR Silver, and parte of its greater Plomosas property had some good gold intercepts, but silver results got the lime lights with its impressive intercept of 185.50 m @ 111 gpt silver. Discovery Silver’s Cordero project in Chihuahua returned good intercepts in silver, lead and especially in zinc. Cordero shows high grade intermediate sulfidation epithermal veins, Ag-Pb-Zn mineralization related to the intrusion of felsic laccoliths, dikes and sills into a calcareous sedimentary sequence, with skarn and carbonate replacement mineralization dominating parts of the deposit. A very broad classification would put Cordero as polymetallic intrusive related mineralization.
