On what proved to be a busy week for press releases including drilling results from companies working in Mexico, the numbers coming from several projects are good. Reyna Gold’s 59 m intercept of 1.45 gpt Au is the best to come from orogenic style gold mineralization in some time. But the real takeaway from this week’s announcements is that the rest of good numbers (really good in the case of Kootenay’s Columba project) for silver, lead and zinc, is that all these intercepts come from mostly tightly structurally controlled low to intermediate sulfidation epithermal systems.
