Mexico’s Best Drilling Intercepts, First Week of February 2026

Two companies published results from drilling campaigns in Mexico during the week.

Capitan Silver released drilling results from eight holes on its reverse circulation (RC) drilling campaign at Cruz de Piedra, in Durango. The results are mainly from the intersection of the Jesús María Silver Trend and the Peñoles Fault, intersecting broad zones of mineralization with high-grade cores, consistent with previous drilling. The Jesús María trend at Cruz de Plata presents typical intermediate sulfidation epithermal mineralization.

Algo Grande Copper presented results from diamond drilling at Cerro Grande, on the Adelita project in Sonora. The drill holes intercepted five vertically stacked skarn horizons and multiple intrusive phases presenting potassic and propylitic alteration, and local high molybdenum values that “may be related to a porphyry source at depth.
