GR Silver Mining was the only company to release results from a drilling campaign in Mexico during the week.
The company presented the results of the ongoing step-out drilling program in two areas of the San Marcial deposit within the 43,187 ha Plomosas project in Sinaloa. “The Step-Out Drilling is designed to explore and validate the extension of silver mineralization along northeast (NE) and northwest (NW)-oriented structures near the Resource Area. It incorporates the full integration of drilling results and 3D-modelling of exploration data to support the drilling of new targets associated with the recently discovered, district-scale intrusive system that hosts hydrothermal, bulk-mineable silver mineralization at the San Marcial Area”. The San Marcial deposit presents hydrothermal breccias with likely intermediate sulfidation epithermal mineralization affinity. Higher grades on the mineralized intervals exhibits intense chloritization, a common trait on the San Marcial area.
