Kootenay Silver was the only company to release results from a drilling campaign in Mexico during the week. The drill intercepts in the table below are from the Columba project in Chihuahua, where Kootenay has a program with the aim to define a maiden resource estimate. This batch is on the D-vein trend, along strike or at depth. Drilling in 2024 has almost tripled the strike length of the D-vein to 1,275 m. Mineralization is of low to intermediate sulfidation epithermal affinity, and “Prospective veins on the project are hosted within a volcanic caldera setting, the surface extent of mapped veins measuring roughly 4 kilometres by 3 kilometres.”
