One company released results from drilling campaigns in Mexico during the week

Colibri Resource was the only company to publish results from drilling in Mexico during the week. The assays are from its maiden reverse circulation drill program at the EP project in Sonora, within the Plomo claims. The phase 1 program comprised 22 holes across the San Perfecto, Banco de Oro and Evelyn targets. “Gold mineralization intersected during drilling is typically associated with quartz veining, silica flooding and sericite alteration …. disseminated pyrite, with locally anomalous copper values …. This alteration assemblage is consistent with an intrusion-related hydrothermal system … The San Perfecto structural corridor runs broadly parallel to historical placer gold workings extending approximately 1.7 kilometres across the Plomo claims”.
