Mexico’s Best Drilling Intercepts, Third Week of March 2024

After a week without news releases from drilling on Mexican projects, Visla Silver delivered results from infill and expansion on the Copala structure, at its Panuco project in Sinaloa. According to Vizsla, the Copala area “currently hosts Indicated Resources of 83.3 Moz AgEq at 573 g/t AgEq and Inferred Resources of 48.3 Moz AgEq at 476 g/t AgEq”. Mineralization has been traced for 1,770 m of strike length and 400 m down dip, with the current results extending it for 100 m down dip on the southeast, highlighting that the main structure gets steeper at depth. Narrower vein splays carrying Au-Ag values like Copala 3 and Copala 4 have been defined for 300-400 m along strike and 400 m of depth. The Panuco project is large in size, displaying low to intermediate sulfidation epithermal mineralization, with the current results coming from one of the areas tending more to the low sulfidation spectrum.
