Only two companies released drilling results during the week: Guanajuato Silver Company on a new vein at El cubo project in Guanajuato and Oroco Resource on drilling the South Zone of the Santo Tomás deposit in Sinaloa. The Guanajuato district represents an iconic low sulfidation epithermal system since Larry Buchanan did its thesis there in 1979. The Santo Tomás porphyry copper system has an historic mineral resource since a few decades ago that is now likely to be increased by Oroco’s drilling.
