CAMIMEX is the country’s oldest industrial chamber as it has existed for over 108 years. It is responsible for enacting good operating practices to develop a sustainable mining industry nationwide. While membership in the chamber is on a voluntary basis, we enjoy the active participation of more than 150 mining companies. Our members cover about 93% of the entire value and volume of mining and metallurgical production in Mexico. This certainly provides solidity to our organization and has made us into a highly relevant consultative body for the Mexican mining industry. Our main objective is now to defend the interests of mining companies incorporated in Mexico to ensure their sustained and sustainable development for the benefit of all Mexicans.
