Two companies announced results from drilling campaigns in Mexico during the week.
Mercado Minerals reported assay results from resampling of historic diamond drill holes at the Copalito project in Sinaloa, proving a good correspondence between the re-assay drill composite intercepts and the previous ones. The company re-sampled 12 of the 81 historic diamond drill holes. Copalito mineralization is described as having low to intermediate sulfidation affinity.
Pacifica Silver announced results from the first 16 holes of its phase II, 20,000 m diamond drilling campaign at its Caludia project in Durango. Fourteen holes were collared on the Aguilareña area and two more on the Central vein; to date 9,918 m in 38 holes have been completed. The Claudia project comprises low sulfidation epithermal mineralization in multiple veins
