Vancouver, BC (FSCwire) – Aztec Minerals Corp. (“Aztec”) (AZT: TSX-V) announces that the Phase 1 drilling program is now underway on the Cervantes gold-copper porphyry property in Sonora State, Mexico. The “Informe Preventivo” drilling permit was granted by SEMARNAT, and Aztec has obtained surface access to build roads and pads on the California and Jasper targets on the Property.

The Phase 1 drill program will consist of diamond core drilling of 14 to 17 holes totalling approximately 3,000 metres.  The objectives of the drill program are as follows:

  • Drill-test the gold oxide cap on the California zone where 50m x 50m spaced soil sampling identified a 600m wide by 900m long gold anomaly, over which prior soil samples averaged 0.44 grams per tonne (“gpt”) 1. Gold-copper mineralization in the California zone is hosted primarily within quartz-feldspar porphyry intrusive and intrusive breccias. Core test holes will be drilled to approximately 150m based on new and enhanced geological, geochemical, structural, and geophysical data.
  • Drill-test the gold-copper oxide mineralization on the Jasper target, where Aztec recently identified 92.4m of 0.62 gpt gold and 0.52% copper in trenching, as more fully described in Aztec’s news release dated October 3, 2017.
  • Drill one hole to approximately 500m depth to test one of the geophysical chargeability/resistivity anomalies identified by the induced polarization survey conducted by Aztec last year for gold-copper sulfide mineralization.

“We are excited to initiate the Phase 1 drill program now that the rain season has passed and climate conditions are good for drilling. We have well defined drill targets at the California and Jasper porphyry oxide gold-copper targets due to the trench sampling, soil sampling, and detailed vein mapping we have completed to date” said Joey Wilkins, President and CEO.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, November 9, 2016 – Millrock Resources Inc. (TSX-V: MRO, OTCQX: MLRKF) (“Millrock”) is pleased to report that the first phase of surface exploration on the La Navidad gold project is near completion, and a drilling program has begun. The project, located in Sonora State, Mexico, 100 km north of the City of Hermosillo, targets orogenic gold deposits. Highlights of a rock sampling program include:

  • 24 meters grading 0.9 grams per tonne gold;
  • 12 meters grading 1.1 grams per tonne gold;
  • 14 meters grading 0.8 grams per tonne gold.

A drilling program consisting of approximately 2,000 meters in nine drill holes is in progress and is planned for completion in December.

Riverside Resources Partner Centerra Gold Advances Glor Property with Funded Program and Preparatory Drilling Work

November 1, 2017 – Vancouver, BC: Riverside Resources Inc. (“Riverside” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: RRI), is pleased to announce an update of the exploration work being done at the Glor Gold Project (the “Project”) in Sonora, Mexico. Positive results obtained by Riverside’s summer program of geological mapping and rock sampling (up to 14.4 g/t Au) have encouraged partner, Centerra Gold Inc. (“Centerra”), to work up additional geophysical and extensive soil geochemistry surveys designed to focus the selection of drill targets in the central part of the Project. Centerra has been funding exploration at Glor since August, 2016, having entered into an option agreement with Riverside to earn a 70% interest in the Project (see press release, July 26, 2016). The ultimate goal of go-forward exploration and drilling programs at Glor is to discover a gold deposit amenable to open-pit mining with heap leach processing; similar in nature to the multi-million ounce deposits being mined in this same part of Sonora at the El Chanate, San Francisco and La Herradura gold operations.

DRILLING COMMENCES AT ALACRÁN

KEY POINTS:
• Approximately 5,000m of diamond drilling planned with 3 drill rigs operating
• High priority drill targets include Loma Bonita – Cerro San Simon and Cerro
Colorado
Azure Minerals Limited (ASX: AZS) (“Azure” or “the Company”) is pleased to advise that project operator Minera Teck S.A. de C.V. (Teck), a 100% owned subsidiary of Canada’s largest diversified resource company, Teck Resources Limited, has commenced a drilling campaign on the Alacrán Project (“Alacrán” or “project”).
To date in 2017, Teck has conducted exploration comprising geological mapping, surface sampling and geophysical (Induced Polarisation (IP)) surveys, with most activities focused in the western half of the property. This work has identified two high priority targets (see Figure 1 for target locations) which warrant drilling. Three diamond drill rigs have now mobilised to site to drill about 5,000m.
One target is the extension of the Loma Bonita silver-gold deposit towards Cerro San Simon. This 1km long corridor has been identified by re-modelling and interpretation of Azure’s 2016 IP survey and coincident anomalous geochemistry from rock chip and soil sampling which suggests potential for epithermal mineralisation

Toronto, Ontario–(Newsfile Corp. – September 21, 2017) – Mammoth Resources Corp.(TSXV: MTH ), ( the  Company  ) is pleased to announce results from the final 2 surface channels cut and sampled at its Tenoriba precious metal property in Chihuahua State, Mexico and average grade of the various channels cut during this program. The most recent results are from the Los Carneritos and the Cerro Colorado areas, two gold-silver mineralized areas at Tenoriba separated approximately 5 kilometres one from the other (refer to Figure 1 – Tenoriba Channel Location Map), results of which are shown in Table 1 – Channel Sample Results and are summarized in the table below (most recent results shown in bold text ), together with previously reported results from this program. A more detailed image of Carneritos 6 trench location can be seen in Figure 3 – Los Carneritos Channel Location Map in the press release dated August 22, 2017.

The average grade of the channel samples cut was 0.77 grams/tonne (g/t) goldequivalent (assuming a silver : gold ratio of 75 : 1) over a total of 129.0 metres cut at12 locations over more than a 5 kilometre strike length throughout the 15 square kilometre area of precious metal mineralization at Tenoriba, after withholding two low grade channels; Carneritos 5 (11.9 metres grading on average 0.08 g/t gold equivalent) and Masuparia 3 (12.0 metres grading on average 0.12 g/t gold equivalent).
