Mexico’s Best Drilling Intercepts, First Week of September 2026

The table below displays drilling intervals from the one property that reported drilling results during the week.

Sonoro Gold presented results from the initial 10,000 m of its ongoing 50,000 m drilling campaign at Cerro Caliche, in Sonora. The intervals presented come from 46 reverse circulation drill holes completed at the central-western region of the property where the company intends to develop an open-pit, heap leach mining operation. “Infill drilling confirms geological continuity and expansion of known mineralized zones while step-out drilling confirms both lateral and depth extensions of the mineralized corridors. Infill drilling at the already significant mineralized vein zone of Buena Suerte also confirmed mineralization in areas previously designated as waste.” Cerro Caliche displays mineralization characteristic of low sulfidation epithermal deposits.

Mexico’s Best Drilling Intercepts, Fourth Week of August 2026

Two companies presented results during the week from drilling campaigns of properties in Mexico.

Mithril Silver and Gold provided details on drilling at its Copalquín project in Durango. Recent drilling targeted the Copalquín-Zaragoza corridor, that now extends 550 m of strike-length, with the projected vein remaining untested 400 m to towards Target 1 (Refugio) and 600 m to Target 4 (San Manuel). Results on this zone also carry base metals values, probably reflecting an intermediate sulfidation phase of this predominantly low sulfidation epithermal system.

Minaurum Silver reported drill results from the Europa, Quintera-Travesía and San José vein zones. The holes reported are part of the 50,000 m Phase-II resource expansion drilling program. Mineralization at Alamos silver presents characteristics of intermediate sulfidation epithermal systems.
