Three companies presented drilling results during the week from projects in Mexico. Silver Tiger’s results from El Tigre project in Sonora, are part of the underground drilling campaign targeting the “high-grade Vein, Sulfide and Shale Zones”. After having completed a PFS on the open pit part, the current results are part of the effort to complete a PEA on the underground portion of El Tigre project in the first half of 2025.
Impact Silver’s results are from the new Kena Vein South in its Guadalupe mine in the Royal Mines of Zacualpan District. The released intercepts are from underground drilling that have extended to 150 m of length the recently discovered Kena Vein South, which remains open in several directions. Kootenay Silver presented the results from 11 drill holes testing the F and I veins, and the first holes in La Preciosa vein. The F and I vein holes were testing gaps in the drilling, and part of the work to build a mineral resource estimate. The holes at the more than 450 m long La Preciosa confirmed the increasing grade with depth of the structure and the potential for higher grade mineralization deeper on, as in other parts of the property.
At the three projects mineralization can be classified as part of low sulfidation epithermal systems.
