Lithium Policy Cuts Advance Lithium’s Value, Says Company’s CEO

Advance Lithium is worried that Mexico’s divisive lithium policy is affecting the perceived value of its assets, which the company says have much to offer to the lithium value chain and the agricultural sector.

Advance Lithium said that, like many companies, it has suffered from the uncertain environment created by the federal government. “We have 13 brines and salt lakes with lithium, potassium and boron in the center of Mexico. We feel these are being underappreciated due to the Mexican government’s efforts to create a national lithium company,” added Alan Laboucan, CEO, Advance Lithium.
