En cuanto a la potabilización, la empresa cuenta con cuatro plantas tratadoras, una dentro de la mina Peñasquito y tres más fuera, en las comunidades Cedros, Mesas y Charcos, desde las cuales se distribuye agua potable a las localidades mencionadas, beneficiando también a Nuevo Peñasco y Palmas, siendo alrededor de 4 mil a 5 mil personas las apoyadas con estas operaciones.
